First Holy Communion

Enrolment session is Wednesday 4th January 2012

Criteria for enrolling on the course:

  • Your child is in year 3 or above
  • You and your child have attended regular weekly Mass for at least the past 4 months
  • You are able to commit to ALL the dates and services, including parents and children sessions.

Children's sessions

  • Saturday 14th January 2012 - including Commentary Mass at 12:30pm
  • Saturday 11th February 2012 - including closing Liturgy
  • Saturday 25th February 2012
  • Saturday 10th March - including closing Liturgy
  • Saturday 24th March 2012
  • Saturday 21st April 2012 - including closing Liturgy

Parents sessions

  • Tuesday 28th February - Meal with speaker
  • Tuesday 17th April
  • Saturday 5th May - Family session, finishing with Mass

Other services

  • Friday 2nd March - Stations of the Cross - for the whole family
  • Wednesday 7th March - The children recieve the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time - Family service
  • Saturday 16th June - Thanksgiving Mass - presentation of portfolios followed by Party
